Event Details

Ronald Reagan first described a job as the best social program. But since his era, what progress has been made and remains to be achieved towards economic opportunity via the self help efforts of entrepreneurship by the historically deprived? How can the payoffs from support targeted to such be magnified and accelerated? And how does increased workplace diversity benefit all organizations?

Join us to hear two business owners whose personal experiences bear witness to such questions. Their presentations will review the evolution of local conditions and the related impacts at both the individual and social levels. As part of our audience you will be informed about important issues like:

•Special challenges and opportunities of minority entrepreneurship
•Minority business stereotypes and their degree of accuracy/bias
•Gains available to your firm working with/on behalf of minority enterprise
•Effective local sources of support for aspiring and current minority business owners
