As helath care workers return from treating Ebola patients in West Africa, we can no longer think of this virus as a "far away" issue. Join us for a panel discussion.
Event Details
The New York Chapter of the University of Chicago Life Sciences Alumni Group (LSAG) invites you to examine the Ebola epidemic in the United States and West Africa and explore evidence based responses with experts in epidemiology, virology, history, public health and economics who bring perspectives from both wealthy and resource-poor nations. How Ebola became pandemic and how we respond has profound societal and global consequences as we prepare for future epidemics of emerging infectious diseases.
Our format is designed to inform and to provoke discussion. Please join your fellow alumni on December 1, 2014 at the Midtown Executive Club at Club Quarters, 40 West 45 Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues).
