Event Details
Transitions can be bittersweet, bringing together challenges of survival and rewarding accomplishments – whether from student to employee, single life to marriage or professional world to retirement. Join us for a dynamic panel discussion on Navigating Transitions facilitated by Booth School Alumnus Eric Emerson (MBA '97), currently the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for AMI and board member of the N.C. Alumni Club.
Eric will engage several University of Chicago Alumni and Friends in an enlightening program focusing on firsthand experiences with transition, including Lisa Struckmeyer (MBA) who segued from business to raising a family of three back to business; Jeff Meyer (Ph.D.) a former Professor of Religious Studies whose retirement inspired him to take up his pen to write novels; and Tom Gill, a partner with Charlotte-based staffing firm, CEO Inc., who will offer insights into the current employment landscape and creative ways for job-seekers to make themselves more marketable.
Join us for a delightful evening of drinks, refreshments and discussion! For more information, contact Career Chair Jennifer Woods Parker (M.A. '78) at jenniferwparker@gmail.com.
