West (I-95/Mainland): Use Julia Tuttle Causeway (I-195) to enter Miami Beach and proceed south on Alton Road (toward the Convention Center). Turn left (east) onto 17th Street and proceed to Pennsylvania Ave for entrances to both parking garages.
North on Miami Beach (Collins/A1A): turn right (west) onto 17th Street and proceed to Pennsylvania Ave

Pennsylvania Avenue Garage
(located between Pennsylvania and the New World Center)

The Encounters Event will afford you an opportunity to see the Symphony up-close with an intimate look into the detailed components of a performance and how these affect the decision on how to play a particular piece of music.

Expressing the Inexpressible: Richard Strauss and the Tone Poem

Journey to the afterlife in the most romantic of fashions, as Strauss depicts the poetic death of an artist, culminating with the ultimate hope for ascension.

These special one-hour presentations feature narration and video designed to guide listeners in their experience of the music. Following the performance, enjoy a complimentary reception where you can meet the Fellows!
