Event Details

The world has changed dramatically since Walter Cronkite was "the most trusted man in America". Trusted media sources are struggling to financially survive amidst today's explosion of social and digital media. Although we tend to look at media as something unique from other institutions, in the US it is a business and must be profitable to survive. How are players adapting to the financial pressures in the marketplace? How is it affecting the news we hear? What can we expect in the future?
In addition to the panel discussion, attendees will be provided a tour of the National Press Club and its broadcast center and learn about the services they offer.
