Liew Mun Leong is Board Director of CapitaLand Group. During his 16 years tenure as President and CEO, which he just relinquished on Jan 1 2013, he nurtured and led CapitaLand to become one of the largest real estate group in Asia.
With more than 30 years of experience in construction and real estate in Singapore and overseas, he participated in a number of public sector infrastructure development projects in Singapore, including the development and construction of Changi International Airport.
He graduated from the University of Singapore with a Civil Engineering degree in 1970. In 2006, he was named Outstanding CEO of the Year in the Singapore Business Awards. He was also conferred the CEO of the Year award at the 2007 Singapore Corporate Awards .
