The temperatures are dropping but the spirits are rising - especially at Booth Happy Hour!
Come join us on Thursday November 15th from 7-9pm for drinks at the Manhattan Yacht Club (MYC) located at North Cove Marina in Battery Park.
The MYC is the largest sailing club in NYC with a floating clubhouse anchored just steps away from the world financial plaza. Think leather chairs, wooden bar, rusty jokes and GingerAle & Rum.
Two of our Alumni, members of MYC, will host us at this unique location in NYC for after-work drinks (cash bar), mingling with sailors and stories on useful knots, 12ft waves and closely fought races.
Capacity is 100 guests, so please RSVP by November 2nd.
Driving Directions:
The bar is located on a floating barge at North Cove Marina. This is located downtown Manhattan just outside World Financial Center. When you exit the winter garden where Starbucks is located, you will see a few boats. Walk there and you can find the clubhouse on a floating barge.
Additional Information:We will meet at the bar of the floating clubhouse the "Honorable William Wall" (see picture). She is moored on the south side of the North Cove marina - just make your way down to the docks, come aboard, find your sea legs and enjoy a drink with fellow Alumni and sailors.
Access to the marina is fast and easy just off West Side Highway and Vessey Street (American Express) from the north or Liberty Street and South End Ave from the south:
- Walk on over from your office if you work in FiDi
- A short walk from Chambers St (1,2,3, A, C, J, Z) or World Trade Center (E, Path) stops
- Take a cab
