Please join fellow Booth Alumni for a day in the wine country with special tours and private tastings. The trip includes a picnic lunch at a grape grower and winemaker's private residence on the top of Spring Mountain, Napa Valley. Wineries include: Barnett Vineyards (http://www.barnettvineyards.com/about/winery) and Silver Oak (http://www.silveroak.com/).
Driving Directions:
The day starts at noon with a private wine tasting at Barnett Vineyards. We will learn about the winery's property, vineyards, and history while tasting Barnett's current release.
We will then walk over to Hal and Fiona Barnett's private residence, located 2,000 feet above the valley floor. On the patio, we can relax and take in the panoramic view of the property and of Napa Valley while sipping wine and enjoying lunch. (Lunchboxes will be ordered from Dean & Deluca. A separate email regarding lunchbox options will be sent to attendees.)
We will then drive down to Oakville for our 3:00pm private wine tasting at Silver Oak Cellars (915 Oakville Crossroad, Oakville, CA). We will taste their current release and discover the history and wine making process of this breathtaking winery.
