Event Details

Tuscany is Sangiovese country with hardly another varietal that comes close in prominence. However the different expressions of the Sangiovese in different terroirs makes it an interesting and delicious study – from Chianti to Montelcino and Montepulciano; not to mention the New World varietal infused Super Tuscans, the older white wine region in Italy, and the legendary Vin Santos.

Join us on a Sommelier led exploration of the wines of this region. This tasting follows the standard format, $25 pays for a taste of 6 - 8 wines paired exclusively with an insightful Sommelier-led lecture geared towards serious students of wine, followed by additional pours and mingling.

Jointly sponsored by the College and Chicago Booth alumni associations, we invite novices and aficionados of all levels. To pour a high-quality selection of wine combined with healthy interaction and learning, we are limiting this event to 20 participants.
