Event Details

Kathleen Tamayo, a Consultant in Spencer Stuart's North American Board Practice and a 2010 Booth grad, is going to be leading an insightful session on board placements that leverages her 12 years of experience in her role. She'll be discussing the latest trends when it comes to corporate board areas of focus (e.g. sustainability, DE&I) and providing actionable tips for securing a seat at the table. This event is for people who are board ready. According to Kathleen, "one way to judge that is if you have permission to serve and regularly present to the Board of Directors at your company today and/or prep your CEO for these sessions."

Spencer Stuart has put together many board placement programs for other business schools. This is our chance to demonstrate to the University that there's enough interest at Booth to warrant a similar program for us. As we know, we have the skills that are in demand. We need to raise our visibility so that more of us are given consideration.
