Art and Markets: Lecture by Professor Canice Prendergast and Tour of Frieze London
Who is the "consumer" of contemporary art? And what makes one piece command a higher price than another? At this very special event, join Chicago Booth Professor Canice Prendergast for a talk on contemporary art, followed by a walkthrough of the Frieze London art fair with Deputy Dean Randall S. Kroszner.
Attendees will meet at Booth's new campus near to St. Paul's for a reception and virtual lecture by Professor Prendergast. The group will then depart by shuttle for the Frieze London fair and enjoy a walk through the fair, equipped with new insights from Professor Prendergast's work on contemporary art markets.
Given the unique nature of this event, attendance is limited. Registration is required and will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
