Online Webinar and a Panel Discussion

Return to office is well underway, as many companies and employees embrace a hybrid pattern, the experiment of full time working from home is ending. The assessments of its effectiveness are beginning to arrive.

We take this opportunity to discuss the importance the Coaching , Leading and managing Productivity in a Hybrid world.

Coaching has never been more important than it is now. These extraordinarily turbulent times, more than ever require leaders that motivate and inspire, provide a sense of belonging given our fading interpersonal connections owing to WFH.

Leaders today need to make concerted efforts to coach, enable and find that sweet spot between providing our people the flexibility they desire, while providing them structure and direction.

Alvin Hew (AXP-7) will be in conversation with Professor Michael Gibbs (AB'84, Am'84, PHD'89) and Ruchira Chaudhary (AXP-11) author of recently launched book Coaching The Secret Code To Uncommon Leadership to explore how leaders can continue to empower, elevate and enable in this new changed reality.

Professor Michael Gibbs (AB '84, AM '84, PHD '89) will share his timely research (published in May 2021) on Productivity and Work From Home that looks into changes in average output, productivity and the effects of coordinating activities on the uninterrupted work hours.

This will be followed by a panel discussion that will focus on sharing learnings from Ruchira's new book "Coaching The Secret Code To Uncommon Leadership" while offering unique insights on how coaching today is not just a good to have, but a need to have skill for every leader who wants to succeed and flourish.

About the Book:
Endorsed by Luminaries like Sheryl Sandberg, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and our very own Michael Gibbs- Coaching the Secret Code to Uncommon Leadership lucidly illustrates how a leader can bring out the very best in people by coaching them, and how coaching can unleash creativity as well as innovation while inspiring teams to play to their potential. It also examines how coaching helps leaders maintain a fine balance between managing and guiding, and between appraising and supporting their teammates. While many excellent books have been written about leadership, talent and coaching, this is a rare book that stands boldly at the intersection of leadership and coaching.
