Jennifer Singh is a technology executive with over 15 years of experience building and scaling innovative businesses at both startups and large corporations. Jen is the Co-Founder of Understory, a global platform that helps organizations use technology and innovation to make our world more sustainable. Understory also offers educational resources and events to make sustainability accessible, practical, and actionable.

Prior to Understory, Jen held a variety of commercial and product management leadership roles where she pioneered new technology solutions. She is an industry expert, author and featured speaker on topics such as sustainability, innovation, cybersecurity, and disruptive technologies.

Jen holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She supports her local community by leading House of Genius Atlanta and serving on the Boards of Startup Atlanta, The Rebel Women and The Lola. All are organizations dedicated to supporting the advancement of entrepreneurs or professional women.

Joyce Shen, AB '06, MBA '10 (Moderator)

Joyce Shen is a business leader, venture capitalist, board director, and educator with broad and extensive experience in building enterprise technology and AI products and companies. Her investing experience and record span from early-stage to growth equity to M&A. Her operating expertise centers on commercializing, transforming, and scaling for startups and global companies alike. Joyce is also a published author on emerging technologies and innovation, public speaker, and entrepreneur. Her recent books include From Talking to Doing: A Short Guide to Corporate Innovation Success and The Promises and Limitations of Blockchain. Joyce is currently the investment and operating partner at stage-agnostic NYC-based investment firm Tenfore Holdings where she invests in enterprise software, big data, AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Joyce received her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Chicago.
