Join us in this discussion featuring speakers from the three global financial centers who will discuss the impact of recent events and trends in the wealth management industry. Christina Lee (Speaker) '13
Director, Credit Suisse

Ms. Christina Lee has been a private wealth manager in Credit Suisse since 2013, spending two years in Singapore and the rest of the time in Hong Kong. She covers the Greater China market and manages around USD 800 million AUM. She has been one of the key members in Credit Suisse to expand in the Chinese market and was ranked internally in the top 10 Investment Consultants in the Asia Pacific region within Credit Suisse in 2017. She is proficient in major investment vehicles to manage ultra-high-net-worth individuals' wealth, and she has been a successful business developer to grow clients' assets. Christina completed her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2013 with concentrations in finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. She was awarded Chicago Booth Merit Scholarship. Before Chicago Booth, she was an equity analyst covering Asia Pacific high-tech hardware sectors, working with the Research Head at Nomura International from 2005.

Ivan Chelebiev (Speaker) '16
Portfolio Manager and Co-Founder, Chicago Global

Mr. Ivan Chelebiev has 20 years experience in asset management. He is head of investments at Chicago Global, where leads a team of Booth faculty and alumni helping investors benefit from the breakthroughs in quantitative asset pricing and behavioral finance.

His career began on Wall Street in 1999 and took him to Europe and Asia in various portfolio management and research capacities, spanning equities, bonds, and their derivatives. He helped start the hedge fund research group at Morgan Stanley, which catalysed the growth of alternatives in institutional portfolios. Ivan conducted due diligence and quantitative analysis on hundreds of hedge funds and was one of the principal authors of MSCI's Hedge Fund Index Methodology. He evaluated and directed investments in relative value hedge funds while at Financial Risk Management LLC, ultimately helping to manage over US$700 million. Later, as a portfolio manager with LGT Capital Partners, he ran a US$1.2 billion allocation across equity and credit managers.

Mr. Chelebiev completed the executive MBA program at Chicago Booth in Hong Kong (AXP 15) and holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, both with a concentration in finance. He also holds a bachelor's degree Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University.

Oliver Banz (Moderator) '05

Mr. Oliver Banz has extensive experience as Banker, Strategy Consultant, and Attorney. Oliver has decades of experience in private wealth management, serving most recently as the Head of Cooperative Ranks for Raiffeisen, served as Corporate Banking COO and Head of Multinationals at UBS, and was the Global Chief of Staff of its Ultra High Net Worth private banking franchise. Prior to that, he was an attorney for Switzerland's pre-eminent law firm, Homburger, and as a management consultant at McKinsey. More recently, he has supported various start-ups in leadership roles, including for an SME financing platform, the world's first digital asset bank, and a business executives' network for conscious leadership. Oliver completed his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2005 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Zurich. He also holds a Ph.D., specializing in Banking and Insurance Law, from the University of Zurich.
