Xiaolin Zhang (Speaker) '04
Chief Investment Officer, Lakeshore Investment / Founding Partner and Chairman, Coastal Investment, President, Non-Performing Assets Industry Alliance
Ms. Zhang founded Coastal Investment in 2004 and RMB fund LakeShore Investment in 2016, focusing on investing in China's non-performing assets and special opportunities. Since the company's inception, Ms. Zhang has formed a professional investment team in China's non-performing assets and special opportunities, developed the company's investment strategy, and led the investment and project management, from acquisition to disposal of non-performing assets: acquisition, adjustment, pricing, restructuring and liquidation. The company currently manages $1.5 billion and RMB9 billion in funds, and its US dollar investors are the world's best-known investors including sovereign funds, pensions, endowment funds, family offices, etc. Ms. Zhang has 25 years of investment experience in China, 16 years in non-performing asset investments. Since 2015, Ms. Zhang has been elected as president of China Non-Performing Assets Industry Alliance, which covers all core business areas of non-performing assets investment and has thousands of elite members. Ms. Zhang graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA in 2004.
