Event Details
Many managers are convinced of the value of brainstorming, but are frustrated by the difficulties they face in actually getting their colleagues to enter into the spirit of the process, and are disappointed by the lack of actionable outcomes from their efforts. The challenge is to tie together the disparate ideas generated by the brainstorming exercise with coherent and convergent thinking. This is one aspect of convergent thinking that we will explore during this month’s meeting of the Strategic Management Practices Issues Group. We will also look at some of the new technology tools that can enhance brainstorming, collaboration, and the application of convergent thinking.
Articles to read in preparation for this session will be posted by November 8th on the registration page at:

Our host will provide the coffee, but we depend on you to provide the energy for the conversation, which starts at 7:30 AM on November 19th. Start your Friday morning by updating your MBA, interacting with fellow Booth alums, expanding your professional network – and still make it to the office by 9:00!
The size of this group is intentionally limited in order to ensure a manageable conversation. If your plans change, and you learn you will not be able to attend after registering, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can release your seat to someone else.
