The Chicago Booth European Private Equity Roundtable is pleased to invite you to its next event: Innovative funding sources for private equity managers. With the private equity fundraising market still way off its peaks, many private equity entrepreneurs have successfully tapped new sources of funds away from institutional investors targeting business angels, private investors or family offices. We are pleased to have three panelists from the private equity sector who have raised financing from such sources over the last 18 months . Panelists : - Kaveh Memari, CEO of Renew Capital Kaveh is the co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Renew, a revolutionary public space infrastructure recycling and media solution. Kaveh holds an MSC in Risk Management and Finance from the London School of Economics and an LLM specialising in Venture Capital and a BA Honours in Political Science - Ritz Steytler, Abacus Partners Ritz has more than 17 years business experience at IBM and Accenture, having conducted a range of strategy and IT business change projects for a range of internatiopnal blue chip clients. In 2009, Ritz launched Abacus Partners as a "search fund" funded by business angels and seeking an acquisition target in the UK. - Drew Deley, '04, Somerset Capital Drew Deley is a Partner at Somerset Capital, a leading independent private market advisory firm focused on the family office market. Drew is more specifically responsible for Somerset Capital's real estate practice and assists with relationship management. Drew has extensive real estate experience and holds an MBA from Chicago Booth.
