Are you a super connector? An influencer? An organized multi-tasker? Did you relish being in a student club? Were you a regular "TNDC" organizer?
If you are "volunteer curious" then we are glad you are here!
With a new club president, this info session is designed for new and interested volunteers to meet current and past volunteers as we share experiences, ideas, and to learn what it means to be a board member.
We hope you can come learn more about volunteering opportunities with us on Monday, March 9. (No pressure though! You can tell us what interests you after the info session!)
A little about us -
The Chicago Booth Alumni Club of the Bay Area is a volunteer-run group to engage local alumni. We are looking for volunteers to build a thriving community where alumni can find friendship, insights, and growth through the network.
The board plans events like mixers, panel discussions, brunches, workshops, and intellectual discussions on topics of interest...as opportunities for the local alumni community to interact.
We aspire to extend the reach of the Chicago Booth brand on the West Coast and make meaningful connections among alumni, students, and local companies.
Board membership is a lot easier than it sounds. We only require -
- Leading, planning, and organizing at least one event per year
- Helping support other board members' events 2 times per year
- Attending at least 4 board leadership meetings per year
Come and be ready to tell us a bit about yourself! Why are you interested in volunteering? What are you able to contribute? We want to hear your most innovative ideas, creative solutions to connecting alumni, and how you can help this community thrive.
CAN'T MAKE IT, BUT SUPER INTERESTED? Click here to let us know!
