Sachi Shenoy (Speaker) '07
Chief Impact Office and Co-Founder, Upaya Social Ventures

Sachi has a decade of experience in developing social enterprises to meet the needs of the poor and ultra-poor, designing and implementing field interventions, and conducting social performance evaluations and investment advisory for a variety of organizations throughout Asia. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Upaya and on the Advisory Board of the Chicago Booth Social Enterprise Initiative (SEI). Her work has been featured in Wall Street Journal – India and the Stanford Social Innovation Review. In 2014, she was named to the Puget Sound Business Journal's "40 Under 40" list, an honor that "spotlights the top business leaders under the age of 40 who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership."

Swatee Surve (Speaker) '04
Founder & CEO, Litesprite

Swatee is a leader who has developed and launched disruptive technology-based healthcare businesses for Microsoft, Nike, T-Mobile, Premera Blue Cross and Eastman Kodak. These commercialization projects led to several patents including Nike's first wearable technology patents. Surve has an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MSME in Biomechanics from Pennsylvania State University, and a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has been featured in international, national, and regional media outlets including Huffington Post, International Business Times, NPR's KUOW's Morning Edition, APM: Marketplace, VentureBeat, Kauffman Foundation, and iMedicalapps.
