Event Details
Its time for the annual fall get-together. Chicago Booth alums visiting Atlanta are welcome to join.
We will meet at a private residence of one of our alums, who has graciously agreed. The location is in East Cobb, Marietta (Near Terrell Mill Park).
This year we will have Prabhu Hariharan as a speaker/guest. Prabhu Hariharan is the Consul / Trade Commissioner for the Canadian Consulate General to the USA at Atlanta, Georgia. He has agreed to preside the Alumni dinner get-together. As a a diplomat for the Govt. of Canada, and having been posted in half a dozen countries across the world (most recently as Consul and Counsellor in Afghanistan, with duties including Acting Ambassador for interim periods.). He has also served in Jordan, Iraq, India, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.
Prabhu leads Foreign Direct Investment and Innovation files, responsible for enhancing trade relations between the USA and Canada for Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
In this session we will discuss & explore about US trade relations, economic outlook and current policies.
Alums and their spouses are welcome to join. Please register (spouse or significant other) as guests. We need the count to order food / drinks.
Kids: Younger kids are welcome to come however, the parents need to keep a watch-ful eye, get their crayons/toys/pencils etc to keep them busy. There will not be any specific baby-sitting or kids entertainment.
Note: The host has offered guests to stay late, hence plan accordingly for after party at The Battery, Atlanta (TBD).
