Event Details

As moderator, Brian Egger will ask each panelist about the challenges and rewards of forming financial advisory and banking organizations, and how each panelist's careers at large financial service organizations prepared them to become principals or founders of their own firms. We will discuss the importance of building both managerial and analytical skill sets. The event will include a 45-minute panel discussion, followed by 30 minutes of audience Q&A.

Brian Egger is Senior Gaming & Lodging Analyst and Consumer Team Leader at Bloomberg Intelligence. He is author of Social Media Strategies for Investing (Adams Media/Simon & Schuster) and an avid public speaker and TV/radio commentator on the casino, hotel and cruise sectors. Brian was a nationally-ranked analyst at Credit Suisse and BMO Capital Markets, where he was Associate Director of Research. He earned a BSE from Wharton and taught security analysis as an adjunct finance professor at Columbia Business School. Brian lives in New Jersey with his wife and two sons and plays guitar in his spare time. He graduated from Chicago Booth in 1992.
