It's not about getting older, it's about living younger longer

Global life expectancy is on the rise. It is imperative to plan for the impact on our professional and personal lives as we could be working more than ten to fifteen years past the traditional retirement age.

As we say farewell to the traditional three life stages of education, work and retirement, the employer and the employee need to work together to prepare ourselves and our organisations for a world disrupted by technology, a shortage of STEAM educated and skilled talent alongside the huge demographic shift as the Baby Boomer generation fully retires from the workforce. Research stresses the importance of happiness, health, resilience and well-being to keeping ourselves energised, productive and able to live younger, longer.

Featured Speakers

  • A fireside chat between Vivian Hunt DBE, Managing Partner UK & Ireland, McKinsey & Company and Chair of BritishAmerican Business and Irene Dorner, Non-Executive Director, Rolls Royce and former CEO, HSBC USA – As two of the most influential female executives from the transatlantic business community, Vivian and Irene will be sharing insight and personal experiences from their respective roles, having led large teams within some of the most successful global organisations.
  • Alok Sharma MP, Minister of State for Employment, will make a key note address on the UK Government's decision to list 'the aging society' as one if it's Four Grand Challenges and explore what this means for UK society.
