Join New York fellow Alumnae for the annual Chicago Booth Women's Network Fall Exchange. This will be an intimate, fantastic and thought provoking panel discussion highlighting the theme: Developing Political Savvy and Personal Strategy In The Workplace. The goal of the panel discussion is for attendees to hear from business leaders on the panel, and engage with peers on the topics of navigating political waters in the workplace so as to help them evaluate their experiences and intentionally shape their authentic stories for future success.

Sheila Hooda (Speaker) '88
CEO, President and Founder, Alpha Advisory Partners, Inc

Sheila Hooda is an independent board director and strategic advisor to CEOs of companies facing technological and market disruption. She has over 25 years of global operating experience providing strategic direction, driving growth both organically and via M@A, and transforming Fortune 500 companies. Ms Hooda is the CEO of Alpha Advisory Partners and serves on the boards of Mutual of Omaha Insurance company and Virtus Investment Partners and multiple non profits focused on education, women's empowerment and global policy. Ms.Hooda is also a published thought leader and speaker on Governance, Strategy and Leadership. She has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth school of Business and is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has been recognized as a Board Leadership Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Deborah Chatman (Speaker) '81

Deborah was most recently a Fellow at JPMorgan Chase & Co. working in the Private Bank's Endowments & Foundations Group, specializing in outsourced CIO services. She was previously employed with UBS, New York as a Director, in the Alternative & Quantitative Investments group, working as the Global Product Specialist for Alternative Investment Solutions, a ~$40Billion hedge fund of funds. Deborah is also a former JPMorgan Inc. employee, where her various positions included Senior Institutional Salesperson in the High Yield and Equity Securities groups, Corporate Finance Specialist in the Investment Banking Division providing services to money managers and corporate clients, and a Corporate Debt Restructuring Specialist refinancing distressed and bankrupt clients. Deborah holds a Parson's School of Design, Certificate in Fashion Design. She is a member of the Fashion Institute of Technology Couture Council, the Nationals Arts Club and a donor to the Tiger Woods Foundation, focused on Education and Military Family Support programs. She enjoys travel, supporting the performing arts, and golf.

Paula Zirinsky (Speaker) '79
Global Chief Marketing Officer, K2 Intelligence

Paula Zirinsky is global chief marketing officer for K2 Intelligence. She is responsible for driving the development and execution of marketing, communications, and business development strategy and programming on a global basis. She also participates in the identification of growth and expansion opportunities for K2 Intelligence across offices. She received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a B.S. from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.Her marketing, communications, and brand-building experience is extensive and includes legal marketing leadership positions at Morgan Lewis, Morvillo Abramowitz, Fried Frank, and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft. She has also provided marketing, corporate communications, and consumer communications counsel to DaimlerBenz AG, Mercedes-Benz AG, DaimlerChrysler, and Hanover Direct Inc. On the consumer side, she has creatively grown and launched new products and businesses in the cosmetics, fragrance, household products, and home furnishings industries for Dawson Home Fashions, Gryphon Development, Revlon, Charles of the Ritz, and American Home Products.

Paula serves on the New York Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Local Steering Committee and has previously served as a board member and chair of the 'award-winning' Sponsorship Committee for the Metropolitan New York chapter of the association. She is an elected member of Wisemen, an invitation-only group of top communications professionals, and a member of Law Firm Media Professionals (LFMP).
She has served as a board member of the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York, as co-chair of the council's Women of Distinction Breakfast, and as a member of its Marketing Committee. In 2013 she was awarded the Adult Volunteer and Community Recognition 'Thanks Badge' for service to the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York and the wider Girl Scout movement.

Sheila Narayanan (Speaker) '92
President, Vulcan Consultants Inc.

Sheila Narayanan's career has ranged from rocket scientist to Girl Scout! Pre-MBA, Pre-MBA, Sheila was an engineer in the aircraft industry. She subsequently went on to be a pioneer in the early days of Big Data, launching a business to monetize MasterCard's transaction data. A passionate advocate of girls in tech, Sheila led the digital transformation of the Girl Scout Cookie business. She is currently an adviser to startups and non-profits.
