Colin Kinsella (Speaker)
Colin Kinsella is charged with leading and consistently innovating the agency's integrated client offering. Colin is regarded as a visionary leader who has implemented strategic, client-first thinking that increases innovation and sustainable success throughout his career. He has help positions of increasing authority at some of advertising's most admired and respected companies.
Prior to joining Havas, Colin served as CEO of Mindshare North America, a division of WPP's GroupM. During his tenure, he managed client relationships across a diverse portfolio including Volvo, American Express, Unilever, and Nordstrom and orchestrated the global launch of The Loop, a data-infused "war room" that monitors data from over 100 sources in real-time to drive strategy and track campaign success. In 2014, the innovative work produced by the company's North American offices captured 34 industry awards and, in 2015, won the MMA Mobile Agency of the Year award. Colin was also recognized as a Digital All Star by Media Post in 2015. Under Colin's leadership, Havas Media recently won Adweek's 2016 U.S. Media Agency of the Year award and MediaPost's 2017 U.S. Media Agency of the Year award.
Colin also has held a variety of leadership roles at Digitas, Razorfish, Foote Cone, & Belding and QuinStreet over the course of his career.
Katie Claussen Bell (Moderator)
Director, Kilts Center for Marketing, Chicago Booth
Katie Bell has experience in research and data analysis as well as in developing and executing marketing strategies. She launched her career at CNA Financial, where she worked in corporate marketing and communications. Her University of Chicago career began in 2005 and spent years doing social policy research at the !Chapin Hall Center for Children and Families. Bell joined Chicago Booth and the Kilts Center for Marketing in 2011. During her time at Booth, she has worked in program development, shaping strategy, directing marketing communications, and overseeing operations of the Center.
