Entrepreneurship has become one of the most popular fields of study at Chicago Booth. In response to great enthusiasm shown by students and alumni, a group of senior Booth entrepreneurs is excited to welcome you to their businesses to share their start-up and growth experiences.
The Booth Entrepreneurial Day in Hong Kong is co-hosted by Booth Alumni Relations, the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Hong Kong and the Chicago Booth Angels Network of Hong Kong.

Jack Poon is the co-founder and CEO of AtCipher Inc., a Techstars and Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab Company that helps business to protect data in the cloud. Jack is a silicon valley veteran, and a serial entrepreneur with in-depth regional experience in business development, technology, corporate finance, and investment. AtCipher is Jack's third company.
Jack started his career with Intel Corporation designing the Pentium(TM) microprocessor in Silicon Valley, and over the last 20 years, he had acquired broad experiences with multi-nationals ranging from technology development, business development, investment, consulting, and corporate finance.
Jack holds 3 Masters Degrees; an MBA from Chicago Booth (high Honors), MSEM from Stanford University, MSEE from Caltech; and he obtained his BSEE from University of Washington (Summa Cum Laude). Jack is an affiliated member of CFA Institute and sole holder of 4 U.S. Patents.

He is the Founder or Co-Founder, and promoter of various businesses all connected with new technologies and the consumer goods industry. This includes Niche Networks Limited / CISLink Limited / Eridium-Photonocs / Prestameitor España SL / Vapor Communications Inc. / LV Private Equity Holdings. Franck has sold prior businesses to an investment fund and private investors.

From an engineering and project management background, King spent 3 years with BearingPoint (now KPMG Consulting) before joining Booz & Co (now Strategy&) on graduating the part time MBA program. King then transformed Datatrade from a traditional direct marketing agency to a multiple award winning technology and data intelligence driven marketing company with international presence in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Manila, as well as being part of a global CRM/digital agency network over 10 years. King has officially spun off the CRM business unit to become CLiX, an 'Intelligence Driven Loyalty Marketing' company, now also award winning.
