Event Details

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is hosting the third annual Chicago Booth Education Management Conference, a critical convening of education leaders, practitioners, and graduate students.

Details about our conference sessions may be found on the 2018 conference website.

This year's conference goes well beyond books and blackboards, focusing on transformative leadership and vision. Our keynote speaker Tim Knowles established the Urban Education Institute at The University of Chicago and is now Founder and Managing Partner of The Academy Group, a new enterprise designed to prepare young people from under-resourced communities to own and operate successful companies nationwide.

Our eleven brand new sessions emphasize creativity and ingenuity, like "Envisioning the Future Classroom," highlighting augmented reality in the classroom with technology developers from Microsoft, along with "Creating Cultural Capital Through Arts Education," convening senior leaders from prominent arts institutions, including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Architecture Foundation. From early childhood education to college access, the Chicago Booth Education Management Conference spans the spectrum of education opportunity and entrepreneurship. We invite you to join us and join the conversation.
