As social media continues to escalate in use—how do you wade through the matrix of solutions and ideas? What is driving your current and future planning and strategy? Allan Schoenberg from CME Group, one of the world's leading and most diverse derivatives exchanges that operates CME, Chicago Board of Trade and NYMEX, will discuss how the exchange has been steadily increasing its use of social media since 2007. You will hear how the exchange has evaluated tools and get an understanding of how the 150-year-old company is tapping Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, wikis, video and social bookmarking to research, converse and influence its audiences. CME Group was recently awarded the Social Media Award from BtoB Magazine for their innovative use of Twitter. To quote the magazine, "CME Group was the standout in the Twitter category for the sheer magnitude of its reach. Most major consumer brands would be delighted to have a Twitter following of 750,000 people; for a b-to-b brand, such reach is astonishing."
