In this talk, Seth Weidman, who has taught these algorithms to his students at Metis, applied them in industry, and spoken about them all over the US, will talk about what these algorithms are doing "under the hood", what is driving the latest advances in them, and where we can expect them to go next.

Seth Weidman teaches, writes about, and applies the latest AI techniques. He has applied these tech-niques at Trunk Club in Chicago, taught them at two bootcamps at Metis, and currently puts together curricula to help Metis' corporate clients learn and apply these techniques. Also as part of his role at Metis, he has given workshops on them at universities such as NYU and Brown and conferences such as the Open Data Science Conference in San Francisco.
