Rob Martin (Speaker)
Director and Senior US Economist, Barclays

Rob Martin is a Director and Senior US Economist at Barclays. Based in New York, Mr. Martin is responsible for the firm's outlook for the US economy, monetary policy. Mr. Martin joined Barclays in May 2015 from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, where he worked for 13 years. In his last role at the Fed, he was the Section Chief for global monetary and sovereign markets, in the Division of International Finance. In this role, he conducted research on topics broadly related to foreign exchange, sovereign bonds, and monetary policy – mapping global financial market movements into the macro outlook, as well as the influence of the macro outlook on global financial markets. Prior to his role as section chief, Mr. Martin was a senior economist in the advanced foreign economies group, where he was an expert on housing markets. Mr. Martin spent one year as the senior economist for Domestic Macroeconomics, International Finance, and Development, at the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) at the White House. Mr. Martin also regularly taught economics at Georgetown University. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from North Carolina State University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Eric Gross (Speaker)
Directory on Credit Strategy, Barclays

Eric Gross is a Director in Credit Strategy, covering the high yield and leveraged loan markets. With expertise in cash, CDS, and credit ETFs, he focuses on relative value and systematic strategies across the credit spectrum.
Mr. Gross joined Barclays in September 2008, and is a senior member of the Credit Strategy team, which has consistently been ranked in the top three by Institutional Investor. He holds an MBA in Analytic Finance and Econometrics from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ryan Preclaw (Speaker)
Director of US Credit Strategy, Barclays

Ryan Preclaw is a Director in Barclays US Credit Strategy research team, where he is the senior strategist for investment grade, distressed, and special situations.

Mr. Preclaw joined Barclays in September 2008; he spent two years working in the firm's Investment Banking division in the Communications and Media industry coverage group before joining the Credit Strategy group. Prior to joining Barclays, he worked as an economist at NERA Economic Consulting and London Economics International.

Mr. Preclaw received his MBA from the University of Chicago in 2008, his MA in economics from the University of Western Ontario in 2001, and his BA in economics from the University of Alberta in 2000.
