Mr. Baker was a Managing Director of PIMCO LLC, Chief Executive Officer and Director of PIMCO Asia, and Co-Head of PIMCO's Official Institutions Business. For 18 years, Mr. Baker oversaw PIMCO's business in Asia ex-Japan which encompassed portfolio management, credit research, client service, product development and business development functions. He was responsible for developing strategic business plans and overseeing their implementation across 20 Asian countries. As Co-Head of Official Institutions Business, Mr. Baker developed and oversaw the execution of global business plans for this client base and supported PIMCO's efforts by meeting with central bank governors and reserves managers, ministers of finance and their staff, and sovereign wealth fund CEOs and reserve managers.
