Prof. Giuseppe Tullio (PhD '77) has again kindly offered his medieval castle Borgo Monticelli for a cultural and social weekend for University of Chicago alumni and their significant others. The weekend is organized as follows: Oct 10th 1. 18:30 - Welcome cocktail 2. 19:00 - Fireside talk with Prof. Innocenzo Cipolletta, Chairman of Trenitalia and Dean of Trento University (previously Confindustria general manager and Chairman of Il Sole 24 Ore) who will speak on ”The Financial Crisis: Between Government and the Market." The fireside talk will be led by Stefano Folli, former editor of "Corriere della Sera" and current journalist at "Il Sole 24 ORE" 3. 20:30 - Dinner at the “Sala Raffaello” in the castle Oct 11th Breakfast followed by activities (details coming soon).
