The AMC Theater-River East Self parking Garage provides discounted parking. The discount will be available weekday evenings and on weekends for our alumni while attending Booth events at the Gleacher Center.

$6.00 after 3:00pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday for a 12-hour period

Payment: Automated; at pay-stations by cash or credit card or upon exit pay by credit card only.
To receive discounted rate: There is a card validator at the first floor security desk of the Gleacher Center. The new system for the AMC Theater- River East Self Park Garage is automated. You will only need to insert your parking card in the validator and the new price will be automatically applied. You can validate your parking ticket at any time between your arrival at and departure from the Gleacher Center. When you leave the lot you will be charged for the lower $6.00 fee.

Brent Neiman (Speaker)
Assistant Professor of Economics, Booth School of Business, The University of Chicago
Brent Neiman conducts research on international finance, macroeconomics, trade, and asset pricing. He is a former staff economist for international finance on the White House Council of Economic Advisers and was a graduate summer intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Previously, he was a business analyst at McKinsey and Company and the McKinsey Global Institute. "My time at the Council of Economic Advisors directed my attention on issues in international economics. Much of my research addresses traditional questions in international macro, but does so using relatively disaggregated data."
Neiman is the recipient of the Chiles Dissertation Completion Fellowship from Harvard University, a Harvard University Graduate fellowship, and a Thouron Fellowship. He is a referee for the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Economics of Transition, and an invited presenter at the NBER Conference on the Economics of National Security.
Neiman earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree of applied science, both summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. In 2000, he earned a master's degree in mathematical modeling from Oxford University. He earned a PhD from Harvard University in 2008 with a thesis entitled, "Topics in International Economics." Neiman joined the Chicago Booth faculty in 2008.
Outside the classroom, Neiman is an enthusiastic golfer and was a bench warmer on the 1998 Ivy League Champion golf team as an undergraduate. He also enjoys travel and is always up for dim sum.
