Cultural and Entertainment are among the most fast-developing industries in last 3 years in China. The investment in the industry is highly grown and becomes a very hot topic. Therefore, Chicago Booth alumni club of China - Beijing Chapter is organizing an event of "The Investment in Cultural and Entertainment Industry in China". We are honored to have two panelists who are veterans in the industry.
Ms. Christina Chang, President of the Huameng Film and Media Co., and also an angel investor
Christina found the Huameng Film and Media Co., which focus on film production and innovation. Prior to that, She founded a mobile Internet start-up and successfully sold the company. Prior to her entrepreneurship journey, she worked at ChinaHR, Tularik, and HP. Also, she is an angel investor. Christina has a Chicago Booth MBA '99, and has a Master degree from Boston University and a bachelor from Peking University.
Mr. Xiaoming Tang, '05 (AXP-4) President of Investment Committee at WE Capital
Xiaoming, who has almost 20 years investment and operation experiences at entertainment and media industries, now is the president of investment committee at WE Capital. Prior to that, Xiaoming was an executive director and investment committee member at the China Culture Industrial Investment Fund. In prior, Xiaoming cofounded an Internet start-up. Xiaoming has a Chicago Booth MBA, and has a bachelor degree from Renmin University of China.
