About the Board
President: Manisha Varshney, ’12
Manisha graduated from Chicago Booth in 2012 with concentrations in economics, accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship and has an undergraduate degree in physics from St. Stephen's College in Delhi, India. Her life focus is 'Product'; be itself (Manisha, as a product) or career. And, her life philosophy is, 'It’s all about user experience!' She is a full stack Product Manager (both front-end and back-end) with background in taking technology products, both web and mobile, from ideation to market. Manisha, as a product, believes in creating value in any situation and making life lasting friendships. She joined Chicago Booth Women’s Network in 2012, right after graduation, and has extended that motto to her role on the board—organizing and chairing events and in last role as Vice President, formalizing the City Ambassadors (CA) program, and recruiting CAs. She organized summer brunches and holiday teas in 29 and 28 cities respectively, initiated the Spring Summit event, and on-boarded 14 city ambassadors, bringing together Chicago Booth alumnae on professional and social platforms to forge deeper connections and lasting relationships. All these efforts have contributed in recognition of CBWN as one of the most active alumni groups. Her personal time is spent exploring the numerous Bay area parks, running, and experimental cooking.
