Navaid Abidi, '06, inducted into the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society at the GSB
Abidi, who graduated from the Evening program in March 2006, was nominated by Prof. Nick Polson to be inducted into the honor society.
Beta Gamma Sigma is an honor society that encourages and recognizes scholarship and professional accomplishments in business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Students from all GSB programs are eligible for induction and are selected on the basis of grade point average in the academic year they graduate. They are inducted by a faculty committee during a ceremony which takes place in the spring quarter.

He served on the Junior Board of Apna Ghar - a shelter in Chicago for battered women of South-east Asian heritage, and has recently become involved with the Schaumburg, IL-based Human Development Foundation (HDF), which runs development projects in Pakistan.
The Chicago Booth Pakistan Club would like to congratulate Navaid on his latest accomplishment.
