Engage with Career Services

Career Services at Chicago Booth includes a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about helping you be successful in your career pursuits. The Career Management team provides one-on-one coaching and research resources to alumni throughout their career life cycle. The Employer Relations team establishes and builds relationships with new employers and maintains and continuously strengthens existing employer relationships.

Career management programs and services

Individual career coaching

Our coaches are Career Management staff members with extensive business and/or career-coaching backgrounds who are passionate about helping you be successful in your career pursuits.

Talk with a Career Coach to:

  • Discuss questions about overall career direction and self-assessment
  • Develop a job-search strategy and action plan
  • Review your resume, cover letter, and other job-search correspondence
  • Manage the interview process and conduct mock interviews
  • Evaluate and negotiate offers
  • Address specific challenges you may be encountering in your job search

Career research assistance

The Fisher Career Resource Center (CRC) staff works with alumni in person and via phone to identify the most appropriate research resources, help you use them, and explain how knowledge gained from them may inform different aspects of your career search.

Meet with the CRC staff to:

  • Develop a target list of companies
  • Determine the best resources to research a particular company
  • Gain expertise in specific research tools
  • Learn how to incorporate and apply research to different aspects of your job search

Employer relations

The Employer Relations team is organized by industry and region. They conduct company visits to explore the needs for Booth talent. They also manage services such as job postings and resume referrals.
