Eunhee Sumner is the vice president, continuous improvement for Starbucks’ Customer Analytics, Marketing and Product Organization. Since joining Starbucks in 2014, Eunhee has held several positions leading strategic, operational and continuous improvement efforts across Starbucks’ finance, supply chain/sourcing, data management and marketing departments.

As a versatile leader and change agent, Eunhee brings 20+ years of experience leading small to Fortune 500 companies through mergers and acquisitions activities, venture capital investing in early-stage companies and corporate turnarounds. Most recently, she held senior roles at Russell Investments and Intellectual Ventures, and was head of corporate development at JPMorgan Chase (fka Washington Mutual) leading the M&A activities and integrations, and managing the $200m Strategic Venture Capital fund. Eunhee also worked as an early-stage investor at Draper Fisher Jurvetson Portage Ventures and launched a stored value card start-up. She began her career in financial services at Chase Manhattan and in the Lehman Brothers Mergers & Acquisitions group.

Eunhee earned an MBA in marketing, finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She earned a BA from Boston College with a major in economics and minor in faith, peace and justice.
