Dustin Lyman

Dustin Lyman is the chief executive officer of Famous Brands International, which owns and manages two category-defining, iconic brands: Mrs. Fields and TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt). Famous Brands is a wholly-owned portfolio company of Z Capital Partners, L.L.C. the private equity management arm of Z Capital Group, L.L.C, a leading global alternative investment manager with $2.2 billion in regulatory assets under management across complementary private equity and credit businesses.

Lyman joined Famous Brands in 2013 as VP of finance, bringing multiple years of hospitality experience to his role with the company. As the previous chief financial officer for Famous Brands, Lyman was responsible for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company.

Prior to Famous Brands, Lyman held various positions with Vail Resorts Management Company and Dish Network, focusing on finance and accounting while overseeing marketing and sales strategic planning, forecasting, and financial reporting. While at Vail Resorts, he participated in multiple mountain resort acquisitions, including The Canyons in Utah, Kirkwood in California, and Mt. Brighton and Afton Alps in the Midwest.

Lyman obtained his BS in economics from Wake Forest University in 1999. After five seasons as an NFL tight end for the Chicago Bears from 2000-2005, Lyman retired to pursue a career in finance, attending Harvard Business School and receiving his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
