London Travel and FAQ

Plan Your Weekend LondonAs one of the most vibrant cities in Europe, London will be the host for our November Forum. London has long served as a leading city on the global stage across several industries and continues to explore new opportunities in innovation and technology to keep its global position.

The city is also home to Chicago Booth’s European campus. Since 2005, Booth has hosted the Executive MBA program, Executive Education courses, and alumni events on campus while building a strong voice and relationships in the business community.

Review the information below and start planning your Alumni Forum: London weekend today.

Andrea Bocelli—The solo classical artist will perform at The O2 on 2 and 3 November 2018.

Borough Market—Visit a food market dating back to the 13th century.

The British Museum—Discover over two million years of human history and culture.

Buckingham Palace—Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty The Queen.

Regent Street Motor Show—Check out vehicles new and old at the UK’s largest free motor show on 3 November.

For more information on November events and other London sights, check out the city’s calendar.

Business attire is recommended for Alumni Forum and business attire or dressy casual for the Thursday reception and Friday night reunion dinners. For all other events, the dress is casual.

Alumni Forums were created to go beyond what one pictures when thinking of an “ordinary conference,” as they draw the Booth community together to engage with Booth’s unique intellectual and professional culture.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to, learn from, and network with Booth’s world-renowned faculty, alumni business leaders, innovators, and rising influencers as they discuss timely business issues.

As the Forum location changes each year, attendees can rekindle friendships with colleagues and former classmates from around the world, and connect with fellow business professionals from a wide array of industries.

We have secured a small book of rooms at the host hotel, the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel.
