Bruce Rigal, ’89
Bruce lectures and undertakes research in behavioural finance and helps organizations achieve business and financial success by implementing strong governance, performance management and leadership frameworks.
He served as global chief operating officer of human resources for two years and investment banking for 10 years at Deutsche Bank. He was the first Distinguished Executive in Residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in London. He has worked for Syntek Capital (CFO), S.G. Warburg and as a management consultant with Oliver, Wyman & Company. He is the past co-chair of Chicago Booth’s EMEA Advisory Board and is a founding member of the Advisory Board and Trustee of Facing History and Ourselves in the UK.
Bruce has a BC from the University of Alberta (1984), an MBA from the University of Chicago (1989) and an MSc in behavioural and economic science from the University of Warwick (2018).
