Benjamin Gedeon

Benjamin Gedeon is the CEO and co-founder of MatchPlace, a new generation Fintech platform integrating Financial Services solutions, bridging the gap between financial institutions and the underserved SME market in Europe. As a seasoned business developer and manager of various teams with over 18 years of experience in fintech, investment banking and capital markets, he was the previous global head of Forex IT with Credit Agricole CIB, a major French bank. Benjamin led project implementation and management teams in various financial institutions and oversaw the development, business analysis, and support of treasury, risk and trading systems. He is an investor, mentor and coach and is regularly involved in the start-up ecosystem.

Passionate about sailing, Benjamin is an active organizer of the Chicago Booth sailing club in Europe. He proudly wears the maroon colors of Chicago Booth in the MBA Global Sailing League.

Benjamin received his undergraduate degree in econometrics and his master’s in management from the University of Toulouse. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
