Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I chose Booth because of the sense of fit that made me feel that Booth was the right place for me. Some close friends, including former colleagues at Booz Allen, and relevant people in my career path, mainly Luiz Muniz, the managing director at Rothschild and president of the Alumni Club in Brazil, are all alumni. Their testimony of their time at Chicago Booth has been inspiring and gives me confidence that I am at a school that professes the values that I most deeply care about. According to them, as I prepare for my career goals I will befriend people with similar motivation, core beliefs, and energy. Booth is truly a community where the importance of business fundamentals; intellectual curiosity; questioning; and rigorous, data-driven analysis are elements deeply rooted. Booth was always my first choice MBA program.
