• Global Strategy and Economics builds an understanding of the main mechanisms that drive the evolution of the global economic environment. The course studies the linkages between globalization, trade and growth, the impact of government policies on activity in a highly integrated world economy, and the determinants and dynamics of exchange rates. It utilizes both conceptual and analytical tools to help managers improve their practical understanding of global economic developments.

• Macroeconomics analyzes both short-run fluctuations and long-run growth of the aggregate economy. Topics include booms and recessions, inflation and unemployment, monetary and fiscal policy, budget and trade deficits, interest and exchange rates, and the productivity slowdown.
