At Oberlin College, Annie Sorich earned her degree in biology. Her role as president of a housing and dining cooperative piqued her interest in business. After graduating from college and working at Morningstar for a year, Annie decided it was time to pursue her MBA.

Enrollment at Chicago Booth meant that the former bio major had to get her hands on a lot of new material and do it quickly. Learning to ask good questions made digesting the new information possible and taught her to identify the most important details. Those same skills have been carried over to the office, where Annie has to assimilate new information and verify it as an equity analyst.
