The Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) is
the recognized leading provider of research-quality historical market data and returns. Founded in 1960
as a research center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to develop the first definitive
measurement of long-run market returns, CRSP has long been an integral part of the academic and
commercial world of financial and economic research. Since its inception, CRSP has partnered with the
investment industry to develop and maintain databases and market indexes that are widely used by academics
and commercial practitioners.
THE INITIATIVE ON GLOBAL MARKETS
The Initiative on Global Markets deals with the massive global
movements of capital, products, and talent in the modern economy that have fundamentally changed the
nature of business in the 21st century. The Initiative focuses its work on international business and financial
markets as well as the role of policies and institutions.
JAMES M. KILTS CENTER FOR MARKETING
Founded in 1999, the James M. Kilts Center for Marketing
advances marketing at Chicago Booth by sponsoring faculty research, supporting innovations in the marketing
curriculum, funding scholarships for MBA and PhD students, and creating engaging programs aimed at
enhancing the careers of students and alumni.
MICHAEL P. POLSKY CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION
The Polsky Center for
Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Chicago Booth advances the knowledge and practice of entrepreneurship
and innovation. The center supports entrepreneurial learning and collaboration through its cutting-edge
curriculum, innovative hands-on learning experiences, leading faculty research, conferences, mentorship, and
community and global outreach programs.
