Healthcare Club Mission Statement

The mission of the University of Chicago Booth Healthcare Club is to enhance students’ understanding of business functions, trends and careers that exist within the health care fields. This group will provide a forum for students to network with alumni, faculty and other industry leaders in order exchange valuable ideas and information pertaining to activities and opportunities within this emerging sector.

As a member of Chicago Booth Healthcare Club, you will:

• Learn about opportunities within the health care industries.
• Network with fellow students, alumni, and industry experts in these burgeoning fields. Areas such as general management, finance, consulting, marketing, banking, venture capital, as well as hospital and health care administration will be explored in great depth.
• Attend scientific / technical training sessions designed to enhance your industry knowledge.
• Participate in industry conferences and panels to discuss today’s pressing issues.
• Generate interest among Chicago Booth community just through your participation in these events – we want to help bring the subjects of biotechnology and healthcare management into the classroom.
• Add your experiences and contribution to the group on your resume!!!
• Free/Subsidized admission to Healthcare Club events

The Healthcare Club is open to all Chicago Booth students (part-time, full-time and executive-MBA). All events will be held at the Gleacher center. We strongly encourage you to join our club and explore this exciting world.
