To the Booth Community:
As most of you know, this morning an earthquake of 8.9 magnitude hit the north-east coast Japan, approximately 250 miles from Tokyo. We are saddened by the human lives taken both by the quake and the resulting tsunami.
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this disaster. To our students and alumni who have family and friends in Japan, please know that you have our heartfelt support, backed by the resources of our staff and the University. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we may be of assistance to you.
