Panel Session a

China, India and the Global Economy

China and India have the potential to become world economic powerhouses and already influence prices, workflows, trade and commodity supplies around the world. What does the future hold for these two countries and the 2.5 billion people they represent? Can they maintain their recent pace of development? What's necessary for continued growth? How can they be most effectively integrated into the world economy and what impact will they have on the US, Europe and the rest of the world?

This session will examine the rapid growth and the future prospects of both India and China and discuss how companies can take advantage of the opportunities in these countries, assess any risks that they might pose, and develop appropriate strategies for managing in an increasingly global market.

This panel hosted by the Chicago GSB Executive MBA Program.
