James E. Schrager, Phd '93

Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management, Chicago GSB

James Schrager's research interests include the effects of corporate strategy on individual motivation and behavior, corporate control and boards of directors, Japanese equity markets, entrepreneurship, and new business ventures.

He is trained as a lawyer and accountant, is experienced as a small business owner and venture capitalist, and is president of Great Lakes Group Inc. He is the founding editor of the Journal of Private Equity, and editor of the Turnaround Management Journal.

James E. Schrager will be the lecturer on the Session A panel, Strategy Update, at this year's Management Conference.
