Connie Fako Shoemake

 Vice President, Public Sector Sales, IBM

Connie Fako Shoemake is Vice President, Public Sector Sales for IBM's 14-state Central Region. Connie is responsible for managing client executive teams which sell IBM solutions to local/state government, K-12/Higher Education, Healthcare Payor/Providers and Pharmaceutical clients.

Previously, Connie was the Director of Sales Operations for the Central Region. . In this role, Connie was responsible for strategic and tactical enablement for the regional sales force working with over 13,000 employees spanning the hardware, software, services business, crossing mid-market, emerging and large accounts.

Connie has held several executive and management positions at IBM in sales, services, technical development, business partner and sales operations. She joined IBM as a software sales engineer in 1981.

Connie is recognized in the Chicago area for her participation in WITI (Women in Technology), Chicago Executives Club of Chicago, and sits on the Chicago Board.of the American Cancer Society. Connie, husband and their four children reside in Palatine, Illinois where Connie is involved in District 211 school activities. Connie is a life loyal Tri-Delta alumnae.
